White Corsets Biography
Pippa Middleton dropped unsubtle hints to the BBC’s producers last year that she would like to compete on Strictly Come Dancing, but it’s her parents who see the show’s money-making potential.
Mike and Carole Middleton have urged customers of their mail-order company to hold a Strictly knees-up.
Using Party Times, the online magazine Pippa edits, the Duchess of Cambridge’s parents point out that much of the stuff they sell can be used for a perfect Strictly themed party.‘We’re delighted that Strictly Come Dancing is back on our screens,’ gushes the article.
‘If you’ve got a little one that loves the glitz, glamour and, most importantly, the dancing, then a Strictly themed party is perfect! Get on your dancing shoes!’
Prince George’s grandparents are careful to avoid infringing brand protection laws after a row they became embroiled in before the London 2012 Olympics.

Pippa wrote last year about how she had taken up sexy flamenco lessons.
‘Good practice in case I’m ever asked on Strictly,’ she said.
Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, compared himself with the sister-in-law of his nephew Prince William at a Savoy lunch this week.
‘I was the Pippa Middleton of my day,’ Charles Spencer told London Magazine guests as he spoke about his new book, Killers Of The King, The Men Who Dared to Execute Charles I.
But lest the assembled audience mistakenly thought he was referring to his posterior, Spencer went on to explain that he was once an aspiring journalist at NBC — rather like Kate’s sister, who writes occasionally for Vanity Fair.
Why punk was painful
In her new biography Dame Vivienne Westwood, grand dame of punk, has claimed a previously unheralded role in The Sex Pistols’ finest hour. ‘Anarchy In The UK — the idea and the title — were mine,’ she boasts.
Now John Lydon, aka Johnny Rotten of the Pistols, has hit back at the fashionista, mocking Westwood as a ‘wrinkly old turkey’ who didn’t have the first idea how to design an outfit to fit the male physique.
In his new memoirs, Anger Is An Energy, Rotten recalls with little affection the Westwood-designed bondage-wear that set the outrageous Pistols apart.
‘Vivienne’s bondage suit was the most restricting, disgusting, annoying thing to be in. She never understood the human shape, and, I think, bitterly resented it,’ opines Rotten.
‘She certainly never had any concept of where men’s goods are supposed to go. The chafing at the zip each side of my genitalia was like a pair of saws cutting in from either side and led to a major infection. They were completely cut for women.
‘The consistent problem I had with Vivienne’s designs was that the aesthetics counted more to her than the actual physicality of a human being. And also the unravelling, because seams would never be finished.’
As for Anarchy In The UK, Lydon asserts, at length, that the lyrical concept was all his. Over to you, Dame Vivienne.
Dr Who star's career has legs
She caused controversy after appearing in Doctor Who clad in the tiniest of miniskirts.
Clearly, Karen Gillan , who played the Time Lord’s assistant Amy Pond alongside Matt Smith is just as keen to show off some leg following her departure from the show.
On Monday, the 26-year-old arrived at the Los Angeles studios of late-night chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live, to talk about her role in the U.S. sitcom Selfie, wearing an elegant white blouse teamed with a pair of high-waisted black hotpants and heels.

‘I tried on different things and when it came to the short skirts, I just thought it was right,’ said Karen. ‘I mean, look down most high streets and girls Amy’s age wear that. It’s not that weird.’
