WE ALWAYS knew Beth and Kirk's wedding would be a good laugh but no one could have guessed the flamboyant fancy dress nuptials the couple would deliver.
The upcoming wedding of fun-loving Underworld machinist Beth Tinkler and Kirk Sutherland look set to be a wedding that will go down in Coronation Street history.

As the cast of filmed in Manchester today, the city looked like it had been turning into a 1980 time warp.

Beth, played by Lisa George, was dressed in a Madonna inspired outfit comprising of a jewel encrusted corset and large tutu skirt with fingerless lace gloves, a cropped jacket and a large bow on her head.
To match the bride's colourful personality, she carried a bouquet of purple, pink and orange flowers tied together with matching bright ribbons.

Even Beth's make-up mirrored Madonna in her 'Like A Virgin' phase, complete with red lips and a dark beauty spot.

Meanwhile her husband-to-be Kirk, played by Andrew Whyment, made a convincing Adam Ant with ribbons tied into a curly wig and the iconic white stripe across his face.

Looks like Beth got her Prince Charming after all with Kirk dressed in leather trousers, a white ruffled shirt and double-breasted jacket to fully embody the dandy highwayman.

And the 80s theme didn't stop there.
Beth's bridesmaids Tracy Barlow, played by Kate Ford, Maria Connor, played by Samia Ghadie, and Sinead Tinker, played by Katie McGlynn, were also dressed in outfits from the decade it seems fashion forgot.

The trio sported retro white dungarees and printed tops with matching lace gloves, hair bows and funky creepers.

Groomsmen, Beth's son Craig Tinker, played by Colston Smith, and Chesney Brown, played by Sam Astin, looked cool in their Blues Brothers costumes.

Some of the cast were spotted getting out of the wedding car – a green Volkswagen campervan decked out with colourful ribbons to match the bride's bouquet.

Beth and Kirk's wedding, which is set to be screened on the ITV soap over Christmas, comes soon after the failed nuptials of Tracy Barlow and Rob Donavan, played by Marc Baylis, after the groom confessed to the murder of Tina McIntyre.

The Street is still getting over the death of Tina, played by Michelle Keegan, so no doubt this wedding will breath some much needed fun into the Weatherfield residents' lives
This fun corset is made from heavy satiny fabric with an overlay of black sheer floral fabric at the front. In addition to over 100 rhinestones, the corset is trimmed out by black lace at top and bottom and green sparkly trim on either side of the sheer fabric. All three bows in the front are accented by bright green buttons. The steel boning on this corset can provide up to a 2" waist reduction!

The detached skirt is made of soft green tulle with strips of black tulle at the front along with lengths of ribbon. It comes complete with a two layer underskirt for proper coverage.
